My Pet Peeve

I believe the thing that annoys me the most is when I take time to organize and clean something than minutes or hours later someone messes it up. I just hate when things are really messy! I try really hard to keep things organized and I hate it when others don't appreciate it. A clean hose is a happy house in my eyes. I also need it to be like that at work. I work at a coffee house and it bugs the crap out of me when I want to make a drink and there is milk and coffee grounds all over the counter. I don't get how others can live like that. I will consistantly clean the whole time I am awake at home to make sure the house stays clean. Even at work I will do my cleaning side jobs and everyone elses just so that the place can stay clean. I also try to talk to others to make sure they won't be around after Im done cleaning to mess it all up again.

Quote Reflection

"Education is what survives when what has been learned has been forgotten"
-B.F. Skinner
The quote means to me that no matter what happens when you learn new things and forget the old you always took the time to pursue the education. The education is the only thing that sticks with you. You could also take it in the sense that it doesnt matter what you learned because in the end you will forget it anyways. The education will always be there and you can actually prove you had it. Unless you say something that will one day become famous, no body will ever know what you learned but they will know of your education.

For The Semester

When I took the class English Comp. I was excited. I was always good at english in high school. My senior year in high school was the time I learned most things in english to actually benefit myself and in this course I hope to expand those skills. I would say that there are still many things I could learn from english and in this class I want to expose myself to it all. The instructor is very easy going which makes this alot easier. I won't have to worry about him snapping on us if we don't know the answer to a question he was asking. I think everyone does better in a class when we are not hounded by the professor. We all end up getting our work done because it doesn't seem like such hard work because were not stressed about it. For this class I want to try my best just like I do in all my other classes and I will continue to do. I know this is one of my strong fields so I want to show it off. I expext myself to finish the work and learn all along the way.

All about me

My name is Andrea Patricia Gale Currier.
I was born and raised in Minnesota. I have lived in multiple places, but spent most of my life in Anoka. I have a mom, dad, step dad, 3 sisters and 2 brother. I am also a aunt to one niece and one nephew. I do not have children but I have a 2 year old pup named Ginger who will do for now. I got my first job when I was 14 but at the age of 16 I applied at Caribou Coffee and have been there for the past three years. I graduated for Anoka High School and immediatly applied to Mankato State. I am majoring in Dietetics and will hopefully graduate as a registered Dietition. My dream job would consist of me either working in a childrens hospital or in a gym. I must admit this will be hard because I don't like to stay still for long, I love to travel. My family is from Germany and I have been there to see where my dad went as a child. There are so many beautiful things about it there that I want to continue to visit my family there. I also have two of my sisters and father living in Bismark, ND. Its not my first choice to visit, but with family there I will take the trip. I should let you know that I also love to cook. I find meals online and try them in my own kitchen, some turn out better than others. Its always been a hobby for me to cook. It was a lot easier when the food came from my mothers shopping and not my own but I manage. My favorite dishes include breakfast and dessert. Along with cooking I also watch TLC more than I should. This became something enjoyable when I moved here and didnt want to get lost going outside, so I turned to the tv. With school starting I havent watched too much, but my mom also watches it so it gives us something to do together even though were miles apart. I will say Im a mommy's girl. I am the youngest in my family so I took to her for the attention. I was the child that would stay inside and play with mom while everyone was outside playing. I didn't like to get dirty or wet. Thats where the cooking started because it was a fun indoor activity. I came out of my shell freshman year of High school. I became more aggresive in softball and let my hair down a little bit. I kept on the safe side by not braking any bones even when winter came and I always went skiing down the steep hills. I have only had really two life and death incounter, one I have had was when I fell through the ice behind my house. I owe my life to my sister Casey, who reached in to grab me. The second was when I was in fourth grade and my house started on fire when I was sleeping. The only things we lost were our belongings and a few cats, but my whole family got out. I love all my siblings and parents. I wouldnt be the person I am today without each one of them, even my dog.
